QiQ for Linux or Windows?

We anticipate to make QiQ available for Linux, but at this time we cannot give any timeframe for this. We do not have plans to make QiQ for Windows.

Hardware requirements

Measurements on paper hardcopies require use of a flatbed scanner, which must be purchased independently of the QiQ software.

For accurate measurement the scanner must undergo a calibration procedure.

QiQ provides several ready-to-use test charts, and also allows you to setup measurements for your custom charts.

Measurement capabilities

For full information about measurement capabilities refer to the user manual. Several of the measurements are based on the ISO 24790 standard, however, not all measurements are fully consistent with that standard.

Pricing

You have several options when it comes to paying for your use of the QiQ software.

Educational use. Use QiQ for free for most educational purposes.

No subscription: Free functionality. Use QiQ for free for limited purposes. This is most useful if you are creating test charts, configurations, scripts, or report templates for use with other installations of QiQ, and you do not need to perform real measurements. You can use QiQ to create images with simulated defects and then test everything from analysis setup to reporting using those images.

No subscription: Pure Pay-Per-Use. If you need to perform only relatively few measurements, this may be your best option. You buy tokens which are consumed as you perform measurements.

Subscription. For high-quantity measurements, you can benefit from a subscription which gives you discounted measurements and priority support. You still need to purchase tokens to pay for measurements, but each token covers more measurements when used under a subscription.
