QiQ Test Charts

The QiQ test charts can be downloaded and printed free of charge. The QiQ software is already configured to analyze and create reports for these charts.

All charts can be downloaded within the QiQ app in sizes for both US Letter and A4.

QiQ is not limited to analysis of these charts. QiQ can be configured for analysis of your custom charts (with certain minimal requirements in order to ensure precision and in some cases to comply with the ISO 24790 standard).

Graininess and Mottle

Summary

40 swatches for measurements of micro-uniformity (noise) defects such as graininess and mottle. The swatch size is compatible with the ISO 24790 standard.

Streaks and Banding

Summary

One large swatch of 40% K compatible with ISO 24790 measurements of streaks and bands. 40% K can easily be replaced by any combination of CMYK. Also 14 small swatches to test the K reproduction curve.

Lines and Color Registration

Summary

C, M, Y, K, CM, CY, and MY positive lines with widths from 0.1 to 1.0 points. There are lines at both 0 and 1 degree angles from the process and cross-process directions.

The lines are compatible with the ISO 24790 standard measurement of line quality attributes: width, darkness, blurriness [sharpness], raggedness, voids and more.

Also a series of test elements for measurement of color-color registration. QiQ does not yet support measurement of color registration (expected second half of 2023).

Measurement of negative lines are not yet supported by QiQ (and is not specified by the ISO 24790 standard).
